A week in the life...or maybe just a night.

Our Grandma (the cita's mom) is INSANE at Yatzee!.

For a game of luck, she has sweet skills.

The padre beat her once.

Alas, Monday night was not that way.

The only person he did beat was himself.

For the worst score of all time.

His score was 47.

Yes, you read me right.

47.

It beat the previous worst score ever of 72.

Which was also held by the padre.

Just think padre, 

if it was golf,

you would be kicking our butts.

Today's posting--Round 2

Yes, I already posted today,

but then I found the family camera

and had to post some randomness from the familia.

The majority of the familia went to Sandy yesterday to bid farewell to Cecily.
She is going on a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints to Spain.
That is pretty awesome.
Afterwards they went to Temple Square

and hung out with the super sweet sister missionaries.

By the way, have you ever noticed that clean clothes are incredibly comfortable?

True story.

Happenings of the House--Superman and Flyingman

It's hard when your familia is doing so many things on so many DIFFERENT CAMERAS!!!

and then they keep forgetting to give them to you,

so you can post their craziness on the blog.

So you'll have to wait a bit for the familia.

But here is a bit of our lovely visitors.

This video is of T-dog and Stephie.

Stephie wanted to play Superman with T-dog.

Apparently that wasn't cool enough for the T-dog because he named himself "Flyingman"

We all thought it was pretty cute.

Did you know Stephie is going to college?

True story.

She is graduating in May,

she will spend the summer saving

and then she heads down with the little juan to SUU in August,

where she will learn good things,

eat the good ramen,

and work the good brain.

She will also live in student housing.

She will probably see some of these people everyday.

She will probably sit at this table--but not with the bug.

The bug is to young for college.

She needs to focus on making it to high school first.

She may run on this track.

...probably not though.

Maybe she'll watch people run on this track,

and then go for a swim.

Because that is what she does.

She will probably play foosball.

But not with the bug.

Because...we already went over that.

But maybe with the little juan.

...probably...

She will tower over her enemies.

Enemies like anatomy, math and phonics...

and crush them with the intense power of her turquoise hoodie.

Above all,

she probably won't miss us,

even though we will miss her.

On Tuesdays,

from 9-5,

and ever other Saturday.

So what happened LAST week?

Yes, I know, I'm late updating it...but it was worth it.

My Auntie and T-dog decided to do pilates together.  

Well, Auntie decided to do pilates, T-dog decided to help.

Little Widgie also got sick.
This is how she looks when she is sick.

You can tell she is sick because she has snot in her nose.
but she still smiles!



She is the happiest baby.

So the cita and I take the kids to school every morning.
On those mornings when it is grey outside, snow all over, and horrendous high school traffic,
we entertain ourselves by looking at the pattern the water makes on the windshield.
While we wait in the ridiculously long line at the 4-way-stop.

and then we make videos of the experience. :)

On a more mature note.
This last Saturday we got to be a stellar cleaning crew and deep clean our grandparents Wheeler's home.

It was a blast.

T-dog and Widgie also enjoyed themselves.

After some foot-popping fun cleaning,

the cita and I took the padre, Stephie, and bug to IKEA for the 1st time!

We had a blast!

Please, please, please, for my sake, notice that the cita's apple juice is for 'tots'.  

The padre got it for her.

We all found it appropriate. ♥ 

The padre fell in love with a VERY, VERY comfortable chair.

and we all fell in love with a couch.

...and sat there for the better part of 20 minutes.

I know this is long folks, but this is the end.

Our week ended on Sunday with our grandparents Wheeler's 52nd wedding anniversary.

It was full of good food, family,

and T-dog showing of his Nigh-Nigh blankie.
